Reflection of love !!

 Today , i am not writing about how i look at things or how i perceive them. How we should look or react to the circumstances but want to share a writing about little brains. The innocenece , the new outlook of little brains that reflects the coming times. When i was reading this, i felt like it was a whole new world opening up its layers. A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds: "What does love mean?" The answers turned out to be much deeper and  broader than anyone could have ever imagined.  "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love." Rebecca - age 8 "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4 "Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Terri - age 4 ...

Self care - Doing things that make you feel like you.

As cleaning the room once is never sufficient.  One has to do it on a daily basis. The dust layers on the furniture,  dirty floor , piles of clutter in a corner keep calling  for your attention. Neglecting for a long time does not help and at one point,  one needs to take care of the cleanliness. But if the cleaning is done in routine and periodically,  the room will always have a comfortable feel to it.  Now, this example of room equally signifies  the mental health. If we keep  neglecting it for too long, we will feel drained and uncomfortable. So, we   need  take some time  for ourselves- self-care.   It helps us avoid the unnecessary mental pressure.  Do not let your emotions pile up to the point where you just can not take them any more. Take care of yourself, dear, for you deserve it so much. 💕

Invest in Gratitude

I was reading some articles yesterday when i came across this very interesting article dealing with "GRATITUDE".  What I really liked about the short post was the last sentence which offers some wonderful advice. So an important lesson:::::Everyone needs to feel appreciated and encouraged. Don’t pass up a chance to voice your gratitude for a job well done. Sure, this isn’t brain surgery but just some common sense advice to make this sometimes cold and cruel world a little softer and a little kinder. Let people know that you are grateful for something that they do for you. Don’t take anyone for granted. When you tell someone you are grateful for them, they will feel good! It is human nature! When you tell them this and they feel good, YOU will feel good as well! How can you possibly go wrong doing this? Gratitude is meant to be sincere! If you go around spewing false statements (i.e., insincere statements) of gratitude to others, it will backfire! People can tell when you are ...

Kindness- A life style !!

  Always Be kind and Be endlessly kind. Always be a part of  good day for someone , somewhere . Always  Send nice thoughts,  always send positive vibes, always  send support and always send love with well wishes. We  often  wish and hope for tomorrow to be a good day specially when we are at our lowest. We look for some sort of sign that tomorrow gets better. Why not be a part of someone's happiness and hope of better day . The universe does not magically take a decision that it will be kind to  you today, tomorrow or the next day. Sometimes it starts with a signal or a  message from someone else, which helps us gather a bit of inner strength to pull ourselves up. Even a little  bit  of sunlight makes our day better. It is always the small things, these kind  things or words  that make a day better. So be kind. Do not even ever think about being anything else  other than besides being kind.  A word or act of kind...

Emotions built into stories !!

Stories are a medium to share our emotions of passions, fears, sadness, hardships, and joys.  This is how  we find common ground with other people and connect with them.    Stories are  global,  that reflect a meaning and purpose to  help us  not only understand ourselves better but also somethinv in  common with others. So i am going to share one such story that i was reading. The message conveyed is so powerful that i could not resist sharing the same. Silent mornings, fresh fragrant air, vast sky, charming conversations,  the rain drops, sufi  music, cheerful smiles, pure hello's, warm feelings, a  cup of tea,  dreams full of hope, prayers with beliefs, interesting books, photography capturing special moments, a piece  passionate art, peaceful walks, long rides with no destination, anything that enriches my soul and helps me feel my  world more lively, these little things that  great meanings for me . And  I am not the most beautiful woman and not even the smartest . I might react the silliest. I might be  dumb  many times. And I also  know that  I carry a child like  spirit.  I have a deep feeling for  things that  go through my mind, I am very sensitive ,  little things  make me so  happy and a small word has the power to bury me in a dark hole.  I might not be  as easy to handle as i am demanding loyality. Thoughts on little things !!

  Little things around us  are the best , the aroma  of fresh coffee , that autumn chill felt in the air , the sound of the waves in a sea .❤ These things are, the things that send a chill down the spine. Staying for the little things, that is all that we need some times. The  need to stay for the leafs, that are softly falling to the ground as the autumn starts.  The beautiful  sunset, is what one needs to stay for.  A good cup of coffee or warm  tea in the morning, is what one needs to stay for. A stranger smiling on the corner of the street, is what one needs to stay for. Even if there is no big reason to stay, find little  little things to stay for,  the little things are often the most meaningful. Even if there is little sense of purpose that you feel right now, just know  that you need to stay. It is okay to stay for things that might not seem important enough at this moment but because if they make you want to see another day...

I deserve good things!!

 A self  reminder to me and  to all my friends that you do not have to be perfect at anything that  you like to do. Do not put the highest expectations into anything, after all there is always a room to improve yourself and get better with practice. This applies  for music, art, story writing,  photography, poetry, or  just anything. One should do what one  likes to do and be just happy about it. Do not compare your work or yourself  with others, do not pressure yourself to be perfect  or inspiring, just be yourself, because you’re more than enough and be the best version of yourself. You all  deserve to be happy. You all  deserve to be safe. You deserve laughter and joy filling your heart when talking to a good friend. You deserve warm hugs. People who love and support you. You deserve healthy friendships, relationships,  connections.  You deserve to be happy. Maybe it isn't constant, but you deserve to know the bad ...

I love to travel. And India,  because it is a   celebration always. Full of colors ,  diversity and excitement. It is  like a mountain valley in spring when the land explodes with life,  and vibrates with bright colors. The beauty is  the spontaneous,  un-manicured experiences  while travelling.  Travel in India, is simply wow - the people, the culture,  the food and the  history. I love the old songs and have  heard them repeatedly from a cheap radio at corner shops, chai stalls in remote areas.The train nework is so awesome that it connects you so widely to all corners of the country. The running vendors trying to keep up to the demands adding to the hustle and bustle.  The simplicity and quiet rural life is striking and so natural. Healing powers of Prayer !!

Healing is a spiritual gift. For many many years people have believed in the magical powers of prayers. And even the medical research has agreed to the same.  Prayers can make people more happy and healthier. And when people get sick, the prayers can help them get healthier faster. Prayers make an individual more optimistic,  less anxious,  less depressing and they experience greater well being. Prayers help us get more Self - Control as we start focusing outside the selfish box and pray for the well being of the universe -  " Sarbat Da Bhlaa " !! Praying for our friends and beloved ones help us develop the ability of forgiveness. Prayers have a positive psychological effects on every individual. The medical research does not advise to substitute medical treatments with prayers in serious ailments but definitely gives the credit as a positive impact on both the mental and health care. # prayers # healing # powers

Music heals the soul !!

Music has the ability to lift one  out of depression or move us to tears - it is a remedy and a tonic for the ear. But it is even more for many  neurological patients, music can provide access when even no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity.” Music  because of the deep connections with the brain, is intrinsically meaningful to humanity as a race. We thrive off it. It drives our actions and emotions, and it has a very soothing influence on the brain. It addresses the mental, emotional and social needs.   Everybody has the seed to become a beautiful flower of love. But very few people have been able to become it. Earning livelihood is not just by wishing to, similarly peace is a valuable treasure that cannot be acquired without effort. Looking deep within yourself, what do you see,  peace or internal conflict? Inner peace or achieving peace of mind,  a major life accomplishment—and even it might be hard to  feel   at peace, however  anyone and everyone can work toward a life of harmony, to seek a spirit that is calm and composed. Peace of mind helps us over come the problems that are handed over by life to us. These teach us to be survivors and give us the courage to confront each day and make our way through. But how do we find peace ?? Listening to our hearts help us find peace. Many times we feel like stuck or trapped in a very unfuĺfilling situation (could be a job, a field of study or a relationship). At other times, we  might notice a distinct sense of dissonance. As we look at our life, we  may begin to notice that we  don’t feel in sync with it, or does not even really feels like it's yours. Such  experiences actually suggest that we are not living authentically, and show you that we are  definitely ready for a different paltform. Going through a cycle of pain  and destabilization at  the end of multiple relationships in the same few weeks or months, with a partner, friends or extended family,  it’s important to spot the pattern and think about what it means. After all, it's seldom a coincidence. Most of the times, it suggests that you’re going through  changes , at deep inner level.  To live in harmony with the universe,we have to let go of that urge to control our lives and trust the unfolding of it.  It is the same feeling as when you float water. Tension , or resistance to it, makes  you sink. However,  a  surrender to the water, will support you in floating. Similarly this  is how we  harmonise ourselves with the Universe. Allow the tension to go and float with the flow of life. When life does not go the way we think, the disappointment makes us more rigid, methodical and we start to micromanage the things around us. Instead of controlling the lives, we can learn to trust and align ourselves with the energy that flows through our hearts. We might not be able to control the surroundings but we can choose our reactions that will benefit us in the future. I have promised myself not to turn a blind eye to all the gifts in my life . I shall always be in gratitude and appreciation to blessed to have them in my life.  I also am learning not to complain and not to judge others.   I would not want to lower my capabilities and would pray for mercy on the souls who have wronged me. I would want to be able to connect with my own soul and my  feelings, to not be enslaved by one idea that may destroy everything.   I pray to  keep the fire within me to follow my passion, to look at the bigger picture behind all my failures, to be able to bring things around and accept my own changes and love them unconditional.  I would nof want to hate my past because it is what got me here. It has taught me not let ego allow me to forget the names that have given me their best. It does not let me forget that  I'm just a tiny creature in a huge world, to be able to help in the  darkest times  and to realize there is...

Forgiveness - key to peace of mind.

Anyone can hold a grudge, but it takes a person with character  to forgive. When you forgive,  you release yourself from a painful burden. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was OK, and it doesn't mean that the person is welcomeback in your life. It just means that you have made peace with pain , and are ready to let it go. It is the key to your peace of mind. Anger takes a lot of energy away from healing.  Forgiveness is the most powerful emotions expressed. When one deeply understands the power of forgiveness. One probably understands amd realizes how small one has been. One should never get stuck. Life is a school and one can either graduate or remain in the same class for ever. Rejuvenating October !!

  🧡🍁Happy October🍁🧡 New month, new chapter, new page , new wishes. I was so looking forward to this month,  month of my birth. Also it is a Breast Cancer Awareness month. However I look forward to this month for several other reasons - to say,  "Hello warm blankets, lovely cups of tea, hot chocolate, rainy mornings, boots, warm scarves, sweaters, hugs to keep me warm, extremely beautiful parks, colorful leaves, weather that allows me to go outside, hot apple cider, pumpkin patches, hot coffee, crisp air, crackling fires, the smell of cinnamon, and cuddling".
