His pen speaks for him. He has touched different aspects of the society while writing. He has even stated in one if his interviews that he would like to write on a deeper level but at this point , he is synced to the liking of the current generation. He spoke his mind saying that it is very easy to write on some of the topics today as use of weapon etc. but he prefers to touch the more sensitive side of the society. He wrote lyrics of
" Nee ‘vaaj fakeeran di,
Sun lai kuday chit laake " - sung by sufi singer Kanwar Grewal.
His mind has different faces of creativity, be it writing the lyrics or singing , he comes out with flying colors in all. He has touched different nooks of the Punjabi culture in his writings, like Jhanjar, miseries of common man etc.. to the extent that he is fondly known as , " Geetan di machine".
He is of the opinion that he prefers to write on subjects where a common man can relate himself to the lyrics of the song , since music influences the thought process of a human. He has written and sung songs for different moods as the choice of a song is highly based on the mood of the listener at the given point of time. While doing so, he has definitely done a justice to his pen .
His favorite song is " Up& Down" that he sang personally but his own song sung by Kanwar Grewal is one if the most liked writings by him. Unlike other Punjabi singers who have confined themselves to specific boundaries of singing , Karan Aujla has outshined himself on all the subjects that he has chosen in the field of Punjabi Music.
